Facts about the parks of Toronto.

1. 6 facts about the parks of Toronto

1.High Park is largest park entirely within the city. It spans 161 hectares. High Park is mixed recreational and natural park, with sporting facilities, cultural facilities, educational facilities, gardens, playgrounds and a zoo.

2.There are 11 designated swimming beaches in Toronto's waterfront parks.

3.The City of Toronto has 57 outdoor pools for residents and visitors to have fun in the sun and make a splash while enjoying the warm summer weather.

4. The Toronto Botanical Garden (TBG) is located at 777 Lawrence Avenue East at Leslie Street, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Termed "The little garden with big ideas", the TBG is nearly four acres and features 17 themed "city-sized gardens". Located in the north-east corner of Edwards Gardens.

5.  There are 50 City of Toronto outdoor artificial ice rink locations, with an extended 2015/2016 season at 35 locations. 

6. Far Enough Farm is located on Centre Island, just East of Centreville Amusment Park. Far Enough Farm is open daily 365 days a year from 10:00AM-5:00PM. There is no admission fee.
